So we were finalists in the springboard challenge. Our business plan was outstanding. Trish gave a wonderful presentation and we won - nothing! Why? because we are not from ACU. All 14 winners in the competition were either ACU students or ACU faculty. Why invite other colleges to be part of your competition when you fully intend to award all of the prizes to your own students and faculty. How do I know this played a factor? They specifically asked Trish in the presentation what school she was affiliated with. So all I can say to them is . . .

Be a good sport, not a poor loser.
That does suck...you would think they would have at least had a winner from one other school to show that it wasn't biased. They probably won't get any entries from other schools next year.
I know you guys did a great job so don't let it get you down for long.
